Gemma Ward Is No 'Stranger'

Supermodel Gemma Ward will make her feature debut opposite Liv Tyler in Rogue Pictures' suspense thriller "The Strangers." Bryan Bertino is directing from his own script."Strangers" revolves around a couple in a remote suburban house who are targeted by three masked strangers. Tyler is the female half of the couple. Ward is one of the masked strangers.Production begins in the fall with an eye toward an October 2007 release.


Producing are Vertigo's Roy Lee and Doug Davison and Mandate's Nathan Kahane. Vertigo's Sonny Mallhi and Mandate's Joe Drake and Kelli Konop are executive producing. Vertigo and Mandate are in postproduction on Takashi Shimizu's "The Grudge 2," which is being produced with Ghost House Pictures.
Ward was the youngest model ever to appear on the cover of Vogue when the magazine profiled her in its "Return of the Supermodel" issue. She is the face of Calvin Klein's newest fragrance, Obsession Night, and was featured in John Mayer's music video for "Daughters." She is repped the Schiff Co. and IMG in New York.
